Hello all
I have installed the SAPI5.1 SDK. The English text to
speech engine works fine, but I am having trouble with the
Chinese engine. I cannot figure out which encoding the Chinese
engine uses. I have tried Big5, GB, unicode ucs2, and none
of them work .
Does anyone know which encoding the simplified Chinese TTS
uses?
Thanks in advance
Richard

I'm not an expert on Chinese encoding, but it should be using the same
encoding output by the Microsoft Simplified Chinese IME.

It should also be using the same encoding as the Simplified Chinese SR
engine. For example of this encoding, look at the Chinese solitaire grammar
included in the reco sample. You can find it in the samples\cpp\reco
directory of the SAPI 5.1 SDK.
